About the role

Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE:CARR), is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Data Engineering and AI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, with a strong focus on cloud technologies. This role demands a deep understanding of data architecture, integration, ETL processes, and advanced analytics, and requires the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will oversee both the architectural design and project delivery, ensuring that technical solutions align with our business goals and are executed successfully from start to finish .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of scalable, robust, and secure solutions for engineering processes and systems covering data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics, in alignment with business goals and technology standards.
• Ensure quality, integrity, and consistency of data across all processes.
• Introduce AI approaches to solve complex business problems.
• Oversee project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery, managing scope, risks, and issues effectively.
• Work with stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before deployment. Implement continuous improvement processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance engineering capabilities and efficiency.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing systems such as PLM and ERP.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e. g. , Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (e. g. , Power BI, Tableau).
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong background in building and deploying machine learning models.
• Knowledge of Dell Boomi is a plus

Requirements

• Experience building solutions in Snowflake is a must.

• Proficiency in architectural design, software development, and project management methodologies.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

EDUCATION PREFERRED :

• Bachelor s or master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data engineering, AI, or a related field.
