About the Role :

- This role is a critical part of an expert team focused on building and enhancing a dynamic, high-performance website using 11ty (Eleventy) and integrating content from Contentful CMS.

- The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, detail-oriented developer with strong experience in static site generation, headless CMS integration, and SEO best practices.

- You'll leverage your expertise to create a scalable, modular, and high-performance codebase optimized for speed and usability across devices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using 11ty (Eleventy) static site generator.

- Integrate dynamic content from Contentful or other headless CMS platforms, ensuring efficient content delivery and seamless integration.

- Build modular and reusable components and templates within 11ty to drive efficient, maintainable code.

- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and content creators to maintain high design fidelity and a seamless web experience.

- Execute SEO strategies and performance optimization techniques to ensure maximum search visibility and rapid loading speeds.

- Debug and resolve issues related to content delivery, website functionality, and performance.

- Implement responsive design principles, ensuring optimal display and usability across a range of devices and browsers.

- Stay updated on web development trends, technologies, and frameworks to maintain technical excellence.

Technical Requirements :

Experience : 4-5 years of expertise in web development with a focus on static site generators, headless CMS platforms, and JavaScript (Node.js).

CMS Proficiency : Strong working knowledge of Contentful or similar headless CMS solutions, enabling seamless integration and content management.

Frontend Expertise : Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks, emphasizing clean, maintainable code.

Responsive Development : Proven experience in developing responsive, mobile-friendly websites using modern design patterns and principles.

SEO & Performance Optimization : In-depth understanding of SEO best practices, web performance optimization, and relevant tools/techniques.

Problem Solving : Demonstrable skills in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Version Control : Proficient with Git or other version control systems for streamlined development and deployment workflows.

Preferred Skills :

CI/CD Knowledge : Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) workflows and tools such as Jenkins.

Cloud & CDN : Understanding of cloud hosting platforms and CDN configurations to optimize content delivery.
