Job Description

Manager - International Sales with leading Consumer Durable company in Nigeria and Middle East

The Regional Sales Manager for Nigeria is responsible for driving export sales strategies, managing export operations, and expanding the company's footprint in international markets originating from Nigeria. This role focuses on identifying new export opportunities, developing relationships with international distributors and partners, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. The position requires a deep understanding of international trade, market dynamics in key export destinations, and the ability to execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Sales Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive export sales strategy for the Nigerian market, focusing on key regions and target countries for growth.

- Set sales targets for exports and ensure their achievement by driving international sales efforts and developing a robust pipeline.

Sales Operations & Export Management:

- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods

- Oversee pricing strategies, considering currency fluctuations, shipping costs, and competitive pricing in target regions.

Relationship Building & Account Management:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and dealers

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements distributors, ensuring favourable terms and long-term collaborations.

- Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting their sales efforts in local markets.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Track and analyze export sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on export activities, performance against sales targets, and market trends.

- Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, order volumes, and market penetration.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in international business or business administration

- 8-10 years of experience in export sales or international business, with specific experience in Nigeria's.

- Proven track record in identifying and developing export markets, managing distributors, and driving international sales growth.

- Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international logistics.

- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and close deals with international partners.
