Automation Lead

Job Description: Automation Lead (Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Python)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Automation Testing Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on automating tests for applications built with Next.js, React, and TypeScript on the frontend, and Python with LangChain on the backend. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Next.js, React, and TypeScript applications using Jest and cypress/playwright.
Create and maintain test frameworks and tools for frontend and backend testing.
Develop automated tests for backend services built with Python and LangChain.
Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and identify testing needs.
Analyse test results, report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and code quality.
Stay updated on the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.
Manage the work product of other testing engineers in team and do code reviews and manage Github CI/CD pipeline
Mentor team members and develop best practices and processes to ensure bug free development within the development pipeline

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
Strong understanding of Next.js, React, and TypeScript frameworks.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python programming languages.
Experience with Jest and other testing frameworks like Cypress or Selenium
Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest framework and
Familiarity with testing backend services, preferably with Python and LangChain.

Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
