Cath Lab Technician

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a critical part in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions by assisting physicians during catheterization procedures. As a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician, you will operate specialized equipment, monitor patients' vital signs, and provide support during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

Prepare and maintain the catheterization lab equipment and supplies.

Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities during procedures.

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment.

Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Associate's degree or certification in cardiovascular technology or a related field.

Proven experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar setting.

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular.

Proficiency in operating specialized catheterization lab equipment.

Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Current CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Role & responsibilities
