Linux Administrator - Python/Bash Scripting

- 8-10 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.- In-depth knowledge of Red Hat system administration tools and utilities.- Strong understanding of Linux kernel concepts and command line proficiency.- Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Bash, Python) is preferred.- Experience with Red Hat containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman) (a plus).- Experience with Red Hat virtualization technologies (e.g., Red Hat Virtualization) (a plus).- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and documentation skills.- Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and package management.- Perform system administration tasks such as system configuration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).- Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for Red Hat systems.- Configure and manage Red Hat identity and access management (IAM) solutions (e.g., FreeIPA).- Secure Red Hat systems by hardening configurations, managing firewall rules, and implementing security best practices.- Monitor system health and performance for proactive problem identification.- Stay up-to-date on the latest Red Hat technologies and industry best practices.- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Red Hat systems.- Document procedures and configurations for the Red Hat environment.
