Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager with a strong background in IT Software Solutions and IT Services to join our team in Hyderabad/Bangalore. This role focuses on acquiring new clients (new logo acquisition) from the Indian market. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in selling IT services and solutions, and will be a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record in business development and client acquisition. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through hunting for new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
New Logo Acquisition:
- Drive new client acquisition by identifying and targeting potential customers in the Indian market (primarily enterprises and mid-sized businesses) in the IT Software Solutions and IT Services space.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, for new clients.
- Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and building relationships.
Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the IT services and software solutions market.
- Develop and implement strategies for penetrating new business verticals, targeting C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
Sales & Relationship Management:
- Present and demonstrate the company's IT software solutions and services to potential clients.
- Maintain and manage sales targets and forecasts, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring continued business and future growth.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the pre-sales, delivery, and solutions teams to ensure a seamless experience for the client from the initial engagement through to project delivery.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring the successful closing of deals, including proper documentation and follow-ups.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and deals in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on sales performance, pipeline health, and market intelligence.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 9-15 years of proven experience in sales and business development within the IT software solutions and IT services domain.
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (B.Tech / B.E.).
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT services (Managed Services, Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, AI/ML etc.) and IT software solutions (Custom Software Development, Enterprise Solutions, SaaS, etc.).
Desired Skills: Experience in selling IT services such as Cloud Computing, Application Development, IT Consulting, IT Outsourcing, and Digital Transformation.
