Senior Executive Costing (Footwear)

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for managing and validating pre-costing in the sampling stage, ensuring accuracy in cost calculations, and optimizing material usage. The role includes fabrication visits to validate and check the average consumption of materials, along with 100% sharing of cutting averages and interlocking consumption charts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Costing & Validation

• Manage and validate pre-costing during sampling to ensure cost accuracy.
• Analyze and validate the average cost of each article before production.
• Work closely with the design and development teams to achieve cost-effective production.

2. Fabrication Visits & Cost Optimization

• Conduct fabrication site visits to validate cost estimates and check material usage.
• Ensure accurate calculation of cutting averages to minimize material waste.

3. Merchandising & Coordination

• Act as a bridge between R&D, production, and sourcing teams to ensure cost-effective product development.
• Ensure alignment between design intent, material selection, and production feasibility.
• Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and competitor costing strategies to optimize pricing.

4. Data Sharing & Reporting

• 100% sharing of cutting averages and interlocking consumption charts to optimize material utilization.
• Work closely with the R&D and production teams to optimize cost structures.
• Maintain and update costing sheets, BOM (Bill of Materials), and pricing reports.
• Track and analyze cost variations to improve future costing accuracy.

What are we looking for

• B.Des from FDDI/NIFT or similar institutions.
• 5+ years of experience in costing, production planning, or R&D costing roles.
• Experience with costing tools, ERP systems, and Excel-based data analysis.
• Understanding of material cutting, interlocking techniques, and wastage reduction.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (One Saturday off)

Location: Delhi (Peeragarhi)

Note: Footwear experience is mandatory.
