➤ Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of strong experience in software testing.
• Strong experience in working in a scrum environment.
• Proficiency in test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of Test Management tools such as Zephyr, ALM, Test Rail, JIRA, QTest etc.,
• Experience in API (Rest) testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Ready API etc
• Experience in e-commerce application testing is a big plus.
• Experience in testing web based applications and mobile apps
• Experience in defect management and triaging
• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience working with functional and technical teams spread across the geographies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• ISTQB or other testing certifications.

➤ Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing on software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
• Implementation of comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases
• Execute manual testing on web and mobile applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Works very closely with the onsite counterpart on knowledge management and day to day testing activities.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to gather and understand business requirements.
• Define and manage test data required for testing activities, ensuring data integrity and privacy
• Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
• Perform exploratory testing to discover potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Publish regular status updates on testing to the stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools.
