What does a Senior SWE Solver do?

The SWE role involves: building modules and products which power the AI engines, following best practices in code quality, version management, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Own development and delivery of interactive modules (Python + node.js) which power Bytelearn's edtech platform

- Formalize software design and requirements through regular communication with teachers involved in curriculum development

- Lead and manage a team of 6+ software engineers (full-time/intern)

- Do research and development for continuous improvement of the underlying frameworks

- Ensure timely delivery with high levels of test coverage, modularity, and safety checks

- Inculcate best practices for code quality, version management etc. in the team

- Hire top-quality talent

Must have skills :

- 4+ years of experience in software development

- 1+ years of experience in managing software engineers

- Hands-on experience with Python and Javascript

- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOP

- Experience in dealing with large codebases

Preferred Skills :

- Good in online coding contests: codechef, spoj, hackerrank, leetcode

- Experience in compiler development, symbolic computing, state machines
