Job Description: Business Development Head Solar Panels & Modules

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Head to lead and achieve
our sales targets in the Indian market. This position requires a professional with extensive
experience in the solar energy sector, a proven track record of strategic sales achievements,
and the ability to build strong partnerships with industry giants. As part of a fast-growing

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and execute the business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand
market presence in India.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key players in the
solar energy sector.
- Position the company as a preferred and trusted supplier of solar panels and modules for
solar plants.
2. Sales Leadership:
- Drive end-to-end sales processes, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring revenue
and profit growth.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales
strategies.
3. Key Account Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with major industry players, including EPC
companies, developers, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to ensure
alignment with customer needs.
- Provide regular feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings and customer
satisfaction.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to the leadership team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 12-14 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in the solar energy
sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the solar energy market, including panels, modules, and project
development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
