Business Analyst

Essential Job Duties:

• Pull fleet and fuel data from various sources and perform business/data analysis, reporting and BI dashboards on day-to-day basis
• Work with fleet leadership in transportation in Europe to establish and maintain functional specific operating and business metrics.
• Understanding of business metrics of transportation.
• Regular interaction with the transport team to understand the requirements, formulating the data and perform the analyses according to the need
• Map, collect and consolidate fleet fuel data required for Sustainability Reporting including fuel consumption by type as applicable across Europe.
• Liaise with Global Sustainability Team to provide data and supporting evidence required in accordance with the reporting cycle.
• Checking, validating, adjusting large order data sets as input for machine learning
• Perform BA tasks in regional transport improvement projects
• Analyse monthly European transport cost and identify trends, create summaries
• Data validation to improve data quality.
• Cleans, validate supplier shipment data

Basic Qualifications Engineering Degree / Masters in Business Administration / Masters in Statistics or equivalent

Experience: • 2 years of relevant Industry experience (preferably in Distribution or Automotive industry

Knowledge: Knowledge of transportation business processes, cost components and drivers of this function, understand shipment data, order data

Skills:

• Fully proficient and experienced in analysis, databases and data mining
• Power BI, MS SQL, advanced Excel, Power pivot, VBA, Access VBA experience
• Hands on experience in developing reports and dashboards in Power BI, Cognos analytics 11, Cognos query and report studio. Writing DAX expressions, BI stack knowledge, data analytics.
• Expertise in Performance tuning and query optimization.
• Ability to interact with business as well as technical teams. Comprehensive knowledge of data design, data modeling, data management, and data visualization.
• Strong communication and client management skills. Ability to learn and respond quickly to the fast-changing business environment.
• Experienced in use of statistics, regression analysis, forecasting, etc.
• Analytical thinker and comfortable with large data sets 2MM+ merchandise SKUs
• Project management skills able to set work priorities in a logical order and handle multiple priorities in parallel
• Expert in MS Office tools, primarily MS Access and Excel
