Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Analyst with a strong background in mortgage servicing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in operations or business analysis, with expertise in data visualization tools, statistical analysis, and process optimization. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can drive operational efficiency, analyze key performance metrics, and support strategic decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis using SAS, Excel, Power BI, Tableau to identify trends and insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for new projects and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders through PowerPoint presentations.
• Design and implement data visualizations to effectively communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
• Provide expert-level support for reporting tools such as SQL Server Management Studio.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau to create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
• Leverage data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to present insights that drive business decisions.
• Generate reports and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Work closely with risk and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in mortgage servicing operations, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, Power BI, and Tableau for reporting and analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
