QAD Business Analyst (Techno Functional)

The Business System Analyst for QAD will work on large, breakthrough ERP initiatives in accord with the overall business plan for Crane ChemPharma and Energy. In this position, you will be a member of highly experienced IT team reporting to the ERP Manager. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with excellent academics, engineering knowledge and an inclination towards learning latest technology. Also, the following skills will be essential for a successful candidate: strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal/client engagement skills, project management

skills and leadership capabilities.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the action plan, project schedules and drive focus towards the critical path items.
• Define and communicate key program milestones and collaborate with the broader team for tollgate reviews.
• Develop expertise in one or more areas of the QAD system and be able to serve as Player/Coach role depending upon the size of the initiative
• Build expertise on Crane Co ERP tollgate process and business processed
• Document the QAD processes and support work-aid creation
• Be able to create clear functional specifications that translate future state business processes into IT solutions.
• Develop testing scripts that fully test the functional solutions in multiple scenarios.
• Participate into Kaizen Roadmap building with Sites Op-Ex Manager, to be aware of improvements required related to QAD processes.
• Participate in quality ISO / SOX audits closure sessions to be aware of non-conformance related to QAD Processes
• Provide training to Business Users on QAD functionality
• Contribute to the strategic ERP roadmap and overall Enterprise Application architecture
• Be able to work across organizational structures and boundaries to achieve best-in-class business results.
• Prescribe and doggedly follow Crane Business System processes and toolkits to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate support requests with QAD and other strategic partners

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors in the field of computer science, accounting, or management information systems.
• At least 5+ years of relevant work experience with QAD ERP Application
• Understands Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and project management concepts
• Knowledge of both Waterfall as well as Agile project management methodologies is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience engaging with/presenting to senior executive leadership
• Demonstrated ability to lead results-oriented teams while promoting an environment that fosters creativity, transparency, and accountability
• Must be willing to travel to domestic/international Crane locations, with up to 50% travel at peak-times
• Good English language skills.

Desirable Qualifications / Experience:

• Knowledge of Progress DB, SQL and other ETL
• Expertise with MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Experience presenting to stakeholders
