Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our Credit Management team. The
Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the credit sancêoning process, ensuring
compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines. This role involves
assessing credit applicaê¢ons, evaluaê¢ng creditworthiness, and making informed decisions regarding credit
approvals or denials
Key Responsibiliê¢es:
1. Credit Assessment:
-Reviewing loan applicaê¢ons to determine whether applicants meet the criteria for creditworthiness.
-Reviewing credit reports and other ï¬nancial records to assess applicantsâ ability to repay loans.
-Communicaê¢ng with borrowers to explain details of their loans, including interest rates, terms of repayment,
and other important details.
-Approving or declining credit applicaê¢ons based on the risk assessment and established criteria
-Monitoring the credit performance of exisê¢ng borrowers and taking proacê¢ve measures to address potenê¢al
delinquencies or defaults.
-Building and maintaining relaê¢onships with customers or clients to understand their credit needs and address
any credit-related concerns
2. Policy Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the company's credit policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulaê¢ons governing the credit industry.
3. Decision Making:
- Make informed credit decisions based on comprehensive risk analysis.
- Determine appropriate credit limits and terms for approved applicaê¢ons.
4. Porê¢olio Monitoring:
- Monitor and manage the company's credit porê¢olio to idenê¢fy potenê¢al risks and opportuniê¢es.
- Implement strategies to miê¢gate credit losses and opê¢mize credit performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's /degree in Finance, Accounê¢ng, Business Administraê¢on, or a related ï¬eld.
- 1-2 years of experience in unsecured lending, with a focus on sancê¢oning and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, ï¬nancial statement analysis, and credit scoring models.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulaê¢ons and compliance requirements.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance risk and business objecê¢ves.
- Proï¬ciency in using credit management soê¢ware and tools.
