We are hiring for Sr. Accountant. Should have 2-3 years of service industry experience in accounting, reconciliation, book closure and MIS.

Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators.

- Month-end and Year-end Closing: Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to develop accurate forecasts. Monitor variances and provide insights to support decision-making.

- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare and file tax returns, and collaborate with external tax advisors as necessary.

- Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

- Audit Support: Facilitate external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to auditors.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency,

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including experience in a senior or supervisory role.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
