Mis Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Gather and Analyze data from diverse sources to produce accurate and timely reports.
• Manage and maintain the MIS database, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per business needs.
• Utilize advanced Excel features to Analyze data and create dashboards, charts, and pivot tables for better data visualization.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify their data requirements and reporting needs.
• Diagnose and resolve data or system-related issues efficiently.
• Uphold data confidentiality and integrity by carefully managing information access.
• Provide data insights and recommendations to support informed business decisions.
• Assist in automating reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload.
• Work closely with Project Coordinators, Program Managers, and the admin team to collect, compile, and manage data, ensuring regular publication of MIS reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the MIS system for accurate and timely data entry across all CSR-related projects and initiatives.
• Update and oversee databases tracking CSR program details, including project status, beneficiary information, impact metrics, and financial records.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through adherence to best data management practices and compliance standards.
• Track Turnaround Times (TATs) for all CSR activities per SOPs and guidelines, addressing any deviations promptly.
• Prepare comprehensive presentations for Board and Monthly Review Meetings.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational guidelines.
• Analyze CSR program data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and ways to enhance program impact.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the CSR team to support strategic planning and program development.
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools to effectively communicate performance and impact to stakeholders.
• Present data in visually engaging formats for CSR reports, presentations, and awareness materials.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduation/Post Graduation.
• 5-6 years of experience in data management, MIS, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Highly detail-oriented, especially in collate, review and documentation and handling tasks
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide meaningful insights on performance
• Excellent communication & effective coordination with internal teams and external teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Adaptable to changing work environment, processes & technologies.
