Tech Lead - LabView Testing technology

Role & responsibilities

• Software development in National Instruments LabView and Test Stand
• Implement complex test and Measurement applications for validation and production
• Software Development for Testbench applications based on cDAQ, cRIO, PXI and other Platforms
• Provide Effort Estimations, Test Strategy & Risks assessments for given requirements
• Independent procurement of measuring and testing systems incl. supplier control
• Development of standards, methods and procedures for test bench development
• Independent planning, implementation and evaluation of internal service projects
• Cooperation with central test equipment development to define Brose-wide standard solutions
• Review, test & bugfix the implemented software
• Prepare documentation (requirement specs, SDD & User Manual) for the applicable projects
• Regular update of Booking hours in a Brose-Database
• Training of new joinees or other engineers on planned topics
• Worldwide 1st level support for assigned measurement and test systems

Preferred candidate profile

• Sound programming knowledge
• Good programing Knowledge (NI-LabView and NI-Test Stand)
• Good programming Skills in NI-RT and NI-FPGA
• Good knowledge of NI-Hardwares for testing of ECUs or Motors
• Basic knowledge of field Bus-Systems (CAN, LIN, UDS, XCP, CCP)
• Experience in shared systems (TCP/IP Master - Slave structures, UDP, Modbus, Serial protocols)
• General Experience of database programming (MYSQL/Microsoft SQL/Oracle)
• General Experience in shared Development and working in a Team
• International Experience e.g. with Nafta, Europe and Asia
• Good knowledge of Software Architecture Design & Development
• Advanced knowledge of measurement technology (DAQ HW Selection & Interfacing)
• Good understanding of Testbench Schematics
• Advanced knowledge of control engineering & Electronic circuits, Controlling Servo drives
• Basic Knowledge of Machine Directive / CE, UL Conformity
• Basic knowledge of Vector Tools (VT System, CANoe, CANape)
• C# & VBS (Visual Basic for diadem scripts), PLC programming (nice to have)
• Strong Communication skills, Problem solving skills, Self-motivated.
