Senior Analyst

Role & responsibilities :

The Senior Operations Engineer will be responsible for ;

Technical incident management and Problem management: Analyzing, solving recurring and major issues or risks on the applications.

Work with Application Development Teams & Infrastructure Operational Teams to carry out Deliverables Release, Deployment of code changes etc.

Schedule & run batch jobs, set up file transfer jobs (using SFTP or AWS S3 bucket), batch Monitoring (using TWS preferably)

Experience : At least 5yrs + of experience in IT Operations

Technical Skills :

• Experience in Application Support & Monitoring, Problem, Change & Incident management
• Experience in Providing Application Support hosted on wide variety of Server Platforms that include Unix/AIX, Linux, Windows, etc.
• Experience in Providing Application Support hosted on Middleware Platforms (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, Tibco V5 and V6, ForgeRock OpenDJ etc.)
• Basic Knowledge on NetScaler, Data-power ,VIP, LDAP
• Basic knowledge of Platforms & Server Systems like Windows, Unix/AIX, Middleware, Databases etc.…
• Overview of Platforms & systems across Databases (UDB/DB2 and Oracle)
• Good Scripting knowledge (Shell scripting...)
• Experience in Scheduling & running batch jobs, setting up file transfer jobs (using SFTP or Connect Express), batch Monitoring (using TWS preferably)
• Monitoring availability of online applications (using Topaz preferably)
• Shell Scripting and TWS Operations.

Operating System Linux, AIX or Solaris

Experience in DevOps organization

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical incident management: analysing and solving, coordination with other teams involved and support to Operation team
• Handle tickets sent by development team (database updates, batch run, etc.…)
• Problem management: analysing and solving recurring and major issues or risks on the applications
• Follow-up the monthly and yearly KPIs of the application
• Batch planning and rerun batch on daily basis, ensuring that everything is operational.
• Ensure operability of the applications in coordination with other IT teams (Development, Operation, Infrastructure…)
• Scripting and monitoring batch processes (during the day)
• Participation to the technical design and implementation of new components within the frame of projects, in coordination with other Group IT Production teams (Systems, DBA, Operation…)
• Participation to security audit, follow-up action plans and report to the security officers
• Follow-up tasks delegated to other Group IT Production teams
• Rerun batch processes in error and follow batch daily review process (BDR)
• Setting up and monitoring file transfers
• Monitoring interfaces and applications
• Delivery of new applications/programs/objects/interfaces in User Acceptance Test and Production environment
• Implement regulatory and audit recommendation (yearly ICOFR campaign)
• Experience in Providing Application Support hosted on wide variety of Server Platforms that include Unix/AIX, Linux, Windows, etc.
