Brigade REAP is a PropTech & UrbanTech accelerator and investment program focused on technology start ups in areas of Real Estate, Retail, Hospitality and Sustainability. The program aims to propel innovation in the built environment by identifying and nurturing startups with a focus on Technology while promoting sustainable growth. Launched in 2016, REAP has mentored more than 75 start ups across 16 cohorts and is recognised as one of the top accelerators in India.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for innovation and business development. The role involves driving portfolio growth, building consulting practice, developing corporate partnerships and mentoring start ups as they scale transformative solutions in the PropTech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Growth:

- Help portfolio companies generate revenues through business development and strategic relationships with corporates, industry leaders, and other stakeholders

- Assist portfolio companies in fund raising from VCs, family offices and other investors

- Design and execute workshops, mentoring sessions, and pitch events.

Consulting and Corporate Innovation:

- Generate revenue by providing solutions to developers and corporates through start ups and interventions in Proptech, Urbantech, sustainability

- Oversee innovation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and emerging UrbanTech trends.

Startup Mentorship:

- Guide UrbanTech startups in areas like market expansion, fundraising, product development, and strategic planning.

- Leverage industry networks to open growth opportunities for startups.

Key Skills and Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in business development and/or portfolio management, preferably with exposure to consulting, corporate partnerships.

- Proven track record in managing accelerator or corporate innovation programs is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of the real estate and construction sectors and emerging PropTech trends.

- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with C-suite executives.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide startups, with a focus on driving tangible outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with startup ecosystems, fundraising processes, and innovation management.

- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.

- Experience in scaling technology solutions within the real estate industry is a significant plus.
