Data Scientist (10-20 yrs)

Director Data Science:

As the Director Data Science, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the data-driven strategy for our supply chain solutions. You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to develop cutting-edge algorithms, predictive models, and optimization techniques that address complex challenges across logistics, demand forecasting, and supply planning and management.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for applying advanced data science methods to transform supply chains and drive sustainable growth for our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Data Strategy: Shape and execute the data science roadmap, aligned with business goals to enhance supply chain optimization, demand forecasting, and risk mitigation.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a talented team of data science, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.

- Design and Development: Develop and deploy machine learning models that drive operational efficiency across various domains like demand planning, supply planning, and logistics optimization. You
would be leading the algorithm development across different product streams and working on various problem statements like demand forecasting, inventory and replenishment planning, production planning etc.

- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and operations to turn data into actionable insights. This is an extremely critical role, and stake holder management is not just limited to internal organization, but we expect you to also represent to clients as well.

- MLOps: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data pipelines, ensuring scalability and performance.

- Innovation: Pioneer advanced data-driven solutions for sustainability, cost optimization, and risk management in supply chain operations.

Requirements:

- Experience: 10+ years in data science with a focus on supply chain, logistics, or operations, and at least 3 years leading data teams.

- Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in Python, machine learning (classical as well as deep learning),
statistical forecasting methods, with experience in MLOps, Optimisation Research and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of NLP and Computer Vision is a huge plus.

- Leadership: Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building and scaling data teams.

- Education: BE/B.Tech/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Problem-Solving: A knack for solving complex supply chain challenges through data-driven approaches.
