Project Manager - Network Technologies (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Lead and manage end-to-end 5G Core network projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

- Report project status, including progress, risks, and challenges, to senior management and key stakeholders.

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical leadership in the implementation, and optimization of 5G Core network solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e. RAN, Integration Testing) to ensure seamless integration and deployment of 5G Core technologies.

- Oversee the technical feasibility and integration of various core network components such as Cloud-native architectures, NFVI, 5G Core (5GC), IMS, AMF, SMF, UPF, UDR, PCF etc.

- Understanding of Features like VONR, LI etc.

- Familiarity with understanding of 3GPP specifications related to various core components.

- Familiarity with 5G Core protocols such as S1, X2, N1, N2, and N3 interfaces.

- Expertise in project management methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).

- Expertise to handle tools like JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins BitBucket.

Project Management :

- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.

- Develop and maintain risk management plans to proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.

- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to improve future project delivery.

Experience :

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing large-scale telecommunications or network projects, with at least 4 years focused on 5G Core network technologies.

- Hands-on experience with 5G Core network architecture, including 5GC, NFV, IMS, and related technologies.

- Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.

- Certifications like Six Sigma, 5G related are preferred.
