Frontend Developer - Vue.js/Javascript (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

As a senior frontend developer, you will have a specialization in Web technology. You will be expected to support feature development and mentor junior developers using constructive feedback. You will help define how we use frontend applications to drive our banking products.

You will share your passion and experience with others and encourage a sharing and caring culture as well as supporting less experienced teammates to grow and develop. Your remit will go beyond projects as the wider engineering community will look to you for coaching and advice. You will be a strong influence on others and your success will largely be based on that.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop responsive web applications using Vue.js and Node.js.

- Take ownership of projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.

- Participate in requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design discussions with clients.

- Develop and maintain backend APIs and integrate them with frontend applications.

- Implement and maintain data storage solutions, such as databases, to support application functionality.

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing appropriate solutions.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

- Help more junior colleagues plan their careers and progress.

What Company expects you to bring:

- Expert in JavaScript, Typescript Vue.JS, Node.js, HTML5 and SASS/CSS.

- Experienced with Webpack, Babel, Jest, Cypress and React Testing Library. Knowledge of MobX and Nx will be beneficial.

- Knowledge of UX/UI design.

- Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes. AKS will be beneficial.

- Experienced with CI/CD and modern DevOps tools. Exposure to Azure DevOps Pipelines will be beneficial.

- Interested in scaling the applications using methodologies like Micro Frontends, Blue/Green Deployments.

- Prior experience using OpenID Connect Protocol.
