Senior Cost Accountant

Senior Accountant at Bombay Hot will play a key role in overseeing financial activities, ensuring accurate accounting practices, and managing compliance matters for the company. The primary objective is to maintain financial integrity, provide strategic financial guidance, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure sound fiscal management.
Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize financial performance.
Supervise the accounts team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.
Team Management Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on accounting and compliance standards.
Manage performance evaluations and career development plans for team members.

Qualification & Experience:

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) preferred.
Proven experience of at least 5 years in a managerial role within the finance and accounts department of an FMCG company.
