This includes lubricating moving parts, replacing worn-out components, and conducting tests to identify potential issues
Troubleshooting and Repair: When equipment malfunctions or breaks down, maintenance mechanics diagnose the problem, troubleshoot the issues, and make necessary repairs
They may use diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and their knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems to identify and fix the problem
Safety Compliance: Maintenance mechanics adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
They may perform safety checks, replace faulty safety devices, and implement safety measures to protect both themselves and others in the workplace
Equipment Installation and Upgrades: Maintenance mechanics may be involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or the upgrade of existing machinery
