Job Description
Bodal Chemicals is looking for Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintenance mechanics perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely
- This includes lubricating moving parts, replacing worn-out components, and conducting tests to identify potential issues
- Troubleshooting and Repair: When equipment malfunctions or breaks down, maintenance mechanics diagnose the problem, troubleshoot the issues, and make necessary repairs
- They may use diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and their knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems to identify and fix the problem
- Safety Compliance: Maintenance mechanics adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- They may perform safety checks, replace faulty safety devices, and implement safety measures to protect both themselves and others in the workplace
- Equipment Installation and Upgrades: Maintenance mechanics may be involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or the upgrade of existing machinery
- This includes reading and interpreting technical specifications, assembling components, and ensuring proper alignment, wiring, and calibration
