Job Summary :
We are seeking an energetic, adaptable, hands-on, and highly skilled QA Automation Lead with excellent communication skills, preferably with expertise in testing Pega applications, to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing consulting advice to customers and working on presales-related activities.
They should also excel at developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, designing test cases, and implementing test automation frameworks to ensure the quality and performance of our Pega applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Test Strategy Development : Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that cover all aspects of the Pega application, including functionality, performance, security, and usability.
- Test Case Design and Execution : Design and execute detailed test cases and scenarios for Pega applications, incorporating both manual and automated testing.
- Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or other relevant technologies. Automation of integration testing using tools like JMeter is also highly preferred.
- Defect Tracking, Remediation Strategies, and Reporting : Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing. Work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve these issues in a timely manner.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand requirements, participate in RFP discussions, and create technical presentations for customers.
- Performance Testing : Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application can handle expected traffic and usage patterns without degradation of performance.
- Regression Testing : Execute regression testing based on the project SDLC context.
- Agile Project Delivery Experience : Work in Agile delivery projects.
- Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
Technical Skills :
- Software Requirements : Strong background in QA methodologies and best practices.
- Proficient in test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, etc.)
- Pega Knowledge : Familiarity with testing Pega applications is highly desired.
Required Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 12-15 years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably with a focus on Pega applications or other Business Process Management (BPM) platforms.
- Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication : Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multiple projects.
- Agile Mindset : Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
