SAP Basis Administrator - E2E Implementation (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Provide 24x7 onsite SAP Basis support for a fairly complex SAP landscape in a large Pharma organization, supporting multiple geographies and timezones

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the 24x7 support team in daily operations providing Basis / OS / DB / Nework / Interface support to ensure 99.9% system availability and SLA compliance.

- Also provide basis support to ongoing implementation / upgrade / roll-out projects

Experience :

- 6 to 8 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis covering Implementations, Upgrades, Integration & Operational support handling ABAP & JAVA stacks on Suse Linux with HANA / Sybase / MaxDB databases in medium / large organizations.

Qualifications :

- Full time Engg. Graduate / MCA

Technical Skills :

- Individual should have strong hands-on experience handling at least one end-to-end Implementation and Upgrade project each.

Required Skills :

- Good experience handling issues related to S/4HANA, BW, PO, Solman, DMS, BEx, WebDispatcher, HANA Cloud systems in the areas of Performance, Integration, Server OS, Database, EDI/IDocs, workflows etc

- Performance tuning of systems running on HANA and Sybase databases

- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills interacting with internal teams and external vendors to identify / resolve issues related to SAP, Network, Firewall, Performance, OS Support in SAP operations covering above systems and timely escalation of issues, where appropriate.

- Good Java stack support exposure

- Good exposure maintaining HANA 2.0 / Sybase ASE 16.0, MaxDB 7.9 or above on Suse Linux 15

- Good exposure to Backup,Restore,Recovery, System copies of SAP installations on HANA/Sybase/MaxDB.

- Upgrade/Patching of HANA / Sybase / MaxDB databases.

- Good exposure to Solution Manager ChaRM, System monitoring & Alert configuration, Soldoc.

- Good exposure to S/4 HANA Security and GRC

- Exposure to Data archiving with Opentext

- DR operations of HANA / Sybase systems .

Apart from Technical responsibilities, the consultant should also have :

- Good Exposure to validation requirements of pharma industry and its compliance

- Good client interaction skills with all levels of management as well as users.

- Be an active participant and contributor to the overall support activities.

- Understand and follow defined support processes and SOPs.

- Contribute to continuous improvements.

- Willingness to support escalations / execute planned activates on a 24x7x365 basis.
