About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team, with a focus on editing podcasts and business-related videos. The ideal candidate will have expertise in video editing, graphic design, YouTube management, SEO, and monetization strategies, helping us deliver high-quality content for our audience across platforms.

In this role, you will edit podcast episodes, business-focused videos, create engaging thumbnails, optimize videos for SEO, manage our YouTube channel, and implement monetization strategies to maximize our content's reach and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Podcast Editing: Edit audio and video podcast episodes for clarity, flow, and engagement. This includes cutting, trimming, and syncing audio/video, removing background noise, and adding sound effects or music.
• Business Video Editing: Edit business-related videos, such as promotional content, tutorials, webinars, interviews, and product demos, ensuring they are polished and professional.
• Thumbnail Designing: Create compelling and visually appealing thumbnails that grab viewers' attention and increase click-through rates.
• Graphics & Animation: Design and integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and animations to elevate the content.
• YouTube SEO: Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata to improve discoverability on YouTube.
• YouTube Channel Management: Manage the YouTube channel by uploading videos, optimizing playlists, and ensuring content is properly categorized and tagged.
• Monetization: Develop and implement strategies to maximize YouTube monetization opportunities, including ad revenue, sponsorships, and other income streams.
• Content Strategy: Work closely with the content team to ensure that videos and podcasts align with audience interests, trends, and business goals.
• Analytics & Reporting: Analyze video performance using YouTube Analytics and other tools, adjusting strategies based on data to drive engagement and growth.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor with a focus on podcasts and business videos.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Strong graphic design skills using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
• Experience in podcast editing (audio/video syncing, noise removal, editing for clarity).
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO (keyword research, metadata optimization) and YouTube's algorithm.
• Familiarity with YouTube monetization features (AdSense, super chats, sponsorships).
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for high-quality video content.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the team.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in business-oriented content creation (e.g., corporate videos, product demos, interviews).
• Knowledge of YouTube growth strategies and trends.
• Experience with video SEO tools such as TubeBuddy, VidIQ, etc.
• Familiarity with podcast platforms and distribution (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.).
