As a Systems Integrator specializing in Microsoft Integration services, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless integration solutions that connect diverse systems and applications within an organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, IT teams and business units to ensure data and process flow efficiently across the enterprise.
Key Accountability And Responsibilities :
Systems Integration :
- Develop integration strategies and architecture that leverage Microsoft Integration Service, such as SQL server Integration Service (SSIS), Azure Logic App, Azure Service Bus, to connect disparate systems and applications.
- Design and build integration solutions using Microsoft Integration Services component, including data mapping, transformation, and orchestration, to ensure data and processes flow seamlessly.
- Develop data mapping and transformation logic to ensure that data is correctly processed and transformed during integration processes.
- Plan and conduct testing and validation of integration solution to ensure accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Identify and resolve integration issues and errors.
- Including the creation of pipelines to release new integrations.
- Ensure that integration solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data encryption, access control, and data privacy regulations.
ERP Project :
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers, database administrators and business analyst, to facilitate successful integration projects.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address integration issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to keep integration solution up to date.
- Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Integration Services technologies and best practices to continuously improve integration solution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements, documents use cases, and translate business needs to technical specifications.
Change Management :
- Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff to ensure the effective use of integration solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Miscellaneous : Any other duties requested by your line manager to fulfil the purpose of this role.
- Formal Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Skills/ Functional :
Competencies :
- Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and database management systems, particularly Microsoft integration services, with a strong focus on SSIS and Azure integration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and related integration tools.
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements for data integration.
- Detailed understanding of Data Lakes\Warehouses, including creation of data models, schemas and architecture, would be highly desirable
- Experience : Proven experience in system integration and data transformation using Microsoft
