Course Development : Develop or contribute to the development of course curricula, lesson plans, and teaching materials. Student Engagement : Encourage active participation and engagement of students through discussions, assignments, and interactive learning activities. Assessment : Evaluate and grade student assignments, exams, and projects, providing feedback and guidance for improvement. Research : Depending on the academic institution, Lecturers may be expected to engage in research activities, which can include conducting research projects, publishing research papers, and contributing to the academic community. Office Hours : Make themselves available for student consultations and academic advising during scheduled office hours. Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to students, including helping them navigate their academic and career goals. Professional Development : Stay current in the field by attending conferences, workshops, and other forms of professional development. Academic Committees : Participate in academic committees, faculty meetings, and institutional initiatives.
