Stores Officer

Job Purpose: The Storekeeper is responsible for efficient material management, storage, and inventory control at the Greenfield project. The role ensures timely receipt, systematic storage, and accurate tracking of materials to support seamless project execution.

Key objectives of this role are:

- Maintaining an organized and secure inventory of construction materials, machinery, and free-issue materials, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.

- Preventing material shortages or delays by coordinating just-in-time deliveries and minimizing storage constraints.

- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while handling and storing materials.

- Managing waste and scrap efficiently for the free issue material, reconciling material usage with project, finance, and procurement teams.

- Providing real-time inventory reports to project stakeholders, maintaining SAP and other inventory management systems.

Responsibilities :

1. Initial Setup of the Store and Material Handling. Ensuring just-in-time delivery to avoid material shortages or storage space issues, especially for Free issue material.

2. Inventory and Free Issue construction Material management Concrete, Cement, Rebar and Structural steel

3. Waste and Scrap Management Free Issue Construction Material

4. Documentation and Reporting

5. Safety and Compliance
