Intellectual Property (IP) Analyst

Role & responsibilities

As an IP Analyst, you will be actively involved in analyzing inventions across various technologies within the medical devices sector. Your role will include:

• Patent Searches: Conducting patentability, infringement analysis, invalidity, freedom to operate, and landscape searches.
• Drafting patent applications, handling prosecution, and ensuring adherence to patent laws and regulations.
• Preparing detailed reports on patent searches and opinions for internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with the engineering teams and other departments to provide valuable IP insights and support the overall innovation process.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to clearly present complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• In-depth understanding of the patent lifecycle, from filing to prosecution and grant.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong commitment to deadlines and quality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
