Commercial Manager or Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Planning

a. Interact with planner / rural teams to ensure aggregation calendar is populated

b. Resource plan for equipment at each warehouse, people, equipment, consumables

c. Plan and align with budget allocations

d. Weekly/monthly cash flows

e. A.P./A.R. Management through team

2. Deals

a. Publish trades

b. Deal closures

c. Deal analytics

3. Delivery scheduling

a. Weekly monthly schedule on platform

b. Tracking delivery efficiency cost, missed opportunities etc.

4. Storage

a. Create/allocate and maintain storages

b. Review periodically to ensure authenticity of data, adjust where required (e.g. rejected material, damaged inventory)

5. Invoicing and Payments

a. Invoicing plan / forecast compare at the end of period with actuals

b. Generation of manual invoices/Dr/Cr.

c. Payments as per policy or frequency agreed

6. Interaction with teams

a. Interact with cluster manager to arrive at correct delivery schedules and mutually agreed resource plan

b. Interact with rural team on planning prior to aggregation

c. Interact with infrastructure team to understand the details of warehouses and nuances, ensure the warehouse SOP is followed

d. Interact with the BiofuelCircle CT team daily to ensure smooth execution of all trades. Set up and report key deliverables periodically

7. Improve processes: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve

8. Inventory:

a. Oversee materials and inventory quality/quantity

b. Highlight deviations to management team

c. Optimise inventory, minimise losses through frequent interactions with Warehouse teams and cluster managers
