Senior Executive_EGS - EHS

Responsibilities:

• To follow the established procedures and policies of the company pertaining to EHS.
• To adhere to safety norms defined.
• To understand the implications of not following the defined procedures with respect to EHS.
• To ensure smooth running of Effluent Treatment Plant.
• To ensure the treated effluents and Air Emissions meets the KSPCB norms.
• To ensure continual improvement in performance of ETP.
• To identify and co-ordinate with authorized recyclers for disposal of recyclable materials/ Hazardous Substance and Bio-Medical Wastes.
• To co-ordinate with Legal Department of the organization in framing the agreement with the authorized recyclers.
• To co-ordinate with the representative from the Pollution Board in collecting the Legal Sample
• To suggest feasible best available technology in the wastewater treatment
• To prepare Capex budget for ETP
• To preparation departmental costing
• To participation in safety committees meetings
• To ensure good working environment and implementation of safety measures at the Plant

Accountability:

• Ensure and renewal of all the consent and applicable legal and other requirement.
• Accountable for Zero liquid discharge.
• Minimization of Solid waste generation and to ensure proper disposal.
• Ensure and implementation of EHS management systems.

Authorities:

• To prepare documents related to ETP
• To issue the General Training Record
• To issue the checklist and log sheets To check the filled log sheets and checklists
• To prepare SOP/IOP/EOP/OCP related to Effluent Treatment Plant and Environment Management System
