Binmile - Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating tests for both mobile and web applications using Appium, Selenium, and webdriver.io You will be responsible for planning and executing automation test strategies, developing and maintaining automation scripts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality releases.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TypeScript to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements, define test cases, and establish quality benchmarks.

- Build robust, scalable automation frameworks that can be reused across projects.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation of product quality.

- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing of applications.

- Identify, document, and track bugs and test failures to resolution.

- Provide feedback to development teams on potential issues an improvements in code quality.

- Contribute to the improvement of overall QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation testing tools, best practices, and industry trends.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.

- Strong experience with TypeScript for automation test development.

- Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Protractor, or similar.

- Experience with building and maintaining automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI etc.

- Familiarity with source control tools like Git.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and experience in API testing.

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices.

- Experience in cross-browser and mobile testing is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Familiarity with end-to-end testing using tools like Selenium.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
