ASP.NET Core Developer

We are looking for a skilled ASP.NET Core Developer to join our team and build high-quality web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ASP.NET Core, Clean Architecture, MediatR, Dapper, and Entity Framework Core. You will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, developing RESTful APIs, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring code quality through testing and best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop web applications: Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using ASP.NET Core.
• Create and optimize APIs: Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs for integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
• Implement Clean Architecture: Ensure modularity and maintainability by applying Clean Architecture principles.
• CQRS with MediatR: Utilize MediatR to implement CQRS patterns, improving code decoupling and maintainability.
• Database interaction: Use Entity Framework Core and Dapper for efficient and optimized database access.
• Manage middleware: Develop custom middleware and optimize the ASP.NET Core request pipeline for better performance.
• Testing and debugging: Write and maintain unit and integration tests while participating in debugging efforts to ensure reliability.
• Optimize databases: Design, query, and enhance SQL Server databases for high performance and scalability.
• Maintain code quality: Adhere to coding standards, conduct code reviews, and maintain thorough technical documentation.
• Collaborate and improve: Work with cross-functional teams (front-end, QA, and DevOps) and stay updated with the latest ASP.NET Core technologies to continuously improve processes.

Skills Required

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# and deep understanding of ASP.NET Core.
• Web Development: Expertise in building RESTful APIs and implementing web development frameworks like MVC, Razor Pages, and Blazor.
• Architectural Principles: Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and SOLID principles.
• Data Access: Experience with Entity Framework Core and Dapper for database interaction and optimization.
• Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Middleware Development: Ability to develop custom middleware and manage the ASP.NET Core request pipeline.
• Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with xUnit, NUnit, or other testing tools for unit and integration testing.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git for version control and code management.
• API Security: Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, or similar authentication protocols for securing APIs.
• Additional Tools: Familiarity with Swagger (OpenAPI), logging frameworks like Serilog, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).

Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 2 5 years of professional experience in ASP.NET Core web development.
• Proven experience with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, RESTful APIs, and implementing Clean Architecture.
• Preferred Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is an added advantage.
