Role Designation - Lead Backend Engineer

Experience : 4+ years in Backend engineering

Remuneration : Upto INR 34 LPA

- This is a specialized Backend Engineering role. Full-stack engineers or those without experience in the specified tech stack need not apply as it will not be the right fit.

- Single Point of Contact (SPOC) - Serve as the primary liaison for their respective teams, facilitating efficient communication both internally among team members and externally with other departments and stakeholders.

- Establish Coding Standards : Set and enforce high standards for code quality and coding practices, ensuring consistency and excellence across all development efforts.

- Architecture : Design and architect solutions that meet or exceed the expectations and benchmarks set by the product and design teams.

- Sprint Management : Break down the sprint backlog from the product team into actionable development tasks, allocate them within the team and maintain real-time status updates to ensure transparency and accountability.

- Holistic Understanding of Requirements : Grasp product and design requirements from a comprehensive customer experience perspective, aligning technical implementations with user expectations and business goals.

- Transparent Communication : Maintain honest and clear communication with cross-functional teams to align expectations and foster collaboration.

- Merge Request Management : Oversee all merge requests to ensure code integrity and readiness before integration into the main codebase.

- Frequent Code Reviews : Conduct regular and thorough code reviews to uphold code quality and facilitate continuous learning within the team.

- CI/CD Implementation : Direct the seamless setup and maintenance of Continuous Integration and - Continuous Deployment pipelines to optimize the development process.

- Git Strategy Enforcement : Establish effective Git strategies and ensure adherence by all team members to streamline version control and collaboration.

- Deployment Oversight : Be responsible for the final "Go/No-Go" decisions on deployments across various environments, including QA, UAT and Production.

- Technical Problem-Solving : Proactively unblock the technical team by tackling complex coding challenges or developing foundational scaffolding when necessary.

- Mentorship and Training : Provide ongoing mentorship and training, guiding team members from stand-up meetings to merge requests to enhance their skills and performance.
