BigStep Technologies - Machine Learning Engineer - NLP/Computer Vision/Image Processing (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the R&D team to drive the development of natural language processing, computer vision, and image processing capabilities.

- Develop and implement deep learning models for large-scale image and text data processing.

- Design real-time algorithms for object detection, classification, tracking, and segmentation.

- Fine-tune open-source large language models (LLMs) for natural language and multi-modal use cases.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineering, to deliver commercial AI solutions.

- Automate workflows between data delivery systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

- Optimize models through hyperparameter tuning, data augmentation, and deployment in production environments.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Proven professional experience in computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning.

- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and Pandas.

- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, including Keras and sci-kit-learn.

- In-depth knowledge of transformer architectures and their applications.

- Experience working with convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures like FCN, R-CNN, Fast R-CNN, and YOLO.

- Proficiency in fine-tuning LLMs and prompt engineering for specific applications.

- Strong background in hyperparameter tuning, data wrangling, model optimization, and deployment.

- Familiarity with containerization (i.e., Docker) and cloud platforms (i.e., AWS) for deploying machine learning models.

- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

- Additional knowledge of transformer fundamentals and production-level modeling is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with advanced deep learning architectures and techniques.

- Knowledge of scalable and distributed AI solutions.

- Experience in integrating AI solutions into commercial products
