Big Oh Tech - Java Developer - Spring Boot Frameworks (2-4 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions in Java.

- Implement and optimize data structures and algorithms.

- Create and maintain Rest APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.

- Work with SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Utilize Spring Boot for building robust and scalable applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by the QA and support teams.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

- Proficient in Java programming language.

- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

- Experience with designing and implementing Rest APIs.

- Solid knowledge of SQL databases and query optimization.

- Expertise in Spring Boot framework.

- Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure concepts.

- Experience with caching mechanisms, such as Redis.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

- Knowledge of Java Design Patterns.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with microservices architecture.

- Understanding of message queue systems (e. g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to agile development methodologies.
