Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Horticulturist specializing in polyhouse farming to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing crop production within controlled environments, ensuring high yields and quality produce. Responsibilities:

Crop Management:

• Plan, supervise, and optimize the cultivation of various crops in polyhouse conditions.
• Monitor plant health and growth, ensuring adherence to best agricultural practices.
• Implement crop rotation and diversification strategies to enhance productivity.

Climate Control and Irrigation:

• Manage polyhouse climate parameters such as temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels.
• Oversee and optimize irrigation systems, including drip and hydroponic setups.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain environmental control equipment.

Soil and Nutrient Management:

• Conduct soil and water analysis to determine nutrient requirements.

Pest and Disease Control:

• Identify and address pest and disease issues using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards related to plant health.

Requirements:

Experience:
