Job Title - Showroom Manager ( Male)
Reporting to - Retail Head
Reported by - Floor Managers, Section Heads, Sales executives
Role Summary : The Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom to ensure its smooth functioning and excellent customer service. The manager acts as a key link between the corporate office and the showroom team, coordinating marketing strategies, sales plans, and operational tasks to drive business success.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :-
General activities
1. Responsible to achieve a monthly showroom sales (Revenue/Profit) goal. Ensure all the floor and sections are meet their individual sales goals. If any deviations guide them to achieve the targets.
2. Ensure that all showroom procedures and policies are thoroughly checked and confirmed before opening the showroom to customers.
3. Responsible to conduct a daily meeting with the showroom core team to discuss the sales goals and achievements. Based on that coordinate with the retail head to prepare a sales strategy for the showroom.
4. Responsible to monitor all the customers are getting exceptional customer services. If any concerns/conflicts raise manage to rectify as soon as possible.
5. Manage the entire showroom visual merchandising (product displays) are align with the Bhima standards. Guide floor managers to maintain the standards.
6. Ensure that showroom stock matches the system stock daily. If any deviation coordinate with the floor supervisors to resolve the issue.
7. Responsible to manage good relationship with the all the customer especially HNI customers. Ensure they are getting exceptional service from the sales team.
8. Ensure all the making charges are collecting from the customer as per the showroom standards. If additional discounts are required collect approval from the corporate office (GM/RM).
9. Review the man power requests raise by the floor managers if requires approve and sent to showroom HR/ corporate HR.
10. Ensure the availability of the sales team in each section to run the showroom smoothly, and authorize weekly offs and leaves accordingly.
11. Coordinate with the retail head to prepare a sales plan to achieve the monthly sales target.
12. Coordinate with the retail head, marketing head and showroom marketing manager to develop a marketing plan for the year/quarter/month to achieve a sales plan.
13. Submit the sales plan and marketing plan to the GM and management for approval. Conduct continuous reviews to monitor progress and ensure desired returns.
14. Evaluate section-wise stock needs and proceed with approval as required. Regularly monitor market trends to stay informed about customer preferences.
15. Ensure job assignments are made for subordinates and review their performance accordingly.
16. Ensure the showroom follows the procedures and policies established by the corporate office.
Report preparation, analysis, and review
1. Conduct a section wise sales team wise performance review on a weekly basis. Assist them to improve their performances if required provide trainings to them.
2. Review the section wise inventory and rotation on a monthly basis. Ensure to prepare a stock optimization plan for the optimize the stocks through proper analysis.
3. Prepare a section wise yearly sales forecast and submit the report to retail head for approval.
Education :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
Experience :
Candidates with above 5-10 Yrs. of Managerial experience in Jewellery Sector.
Age :
Below 45 Years Preferred
