Job Title: Senior Manager / DGM Controls & System Engineering

Job Description / Responsibilities:

The Gas Turbine Controls & System Engineer is responsible for leading controls and system level applications and providing resolutions to customer issues and engineering requests. In this role he/she will have below responsibilities:

• Lead system level support to resolve issues and provide solutions.
• Establish customer connect to understand fleet issues from controls perspective and develop solutions.
• Review controls uprate solutions and enable team to deliver technical proposals.
• Lead root cause investigations for issues with significant fleet impact from initial investigation through the corrective and preventive actions phase.
• Serve as a recognized expert dedicated to Controls and System area, both internally and externally, partnering with customers and respective engineering interface teams.
• Collaborate with interface teams to identify root cause and resolutions, practice decisions making with limited data, leverage engineering judgement and interact with customers.
• Aid in the development of key metrics that promote accountability and ensure the timely closure of issues.
• Understand the challenges faced by the customer and negotiate strategic/ commercial decisions that meet both organization and customer interests.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal interfaces to ensure that customer requirements are understood and being addressed.
• Travel to customer locations in support of services/ sales/ commercial teams during unplanned/ forced outages and customer technical review meetings.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience with Gas Turbine operation, service, or technical support from controls and system perspective.
• In-depth knowledge in GE Vernova design Gas Turbine systems and controls.
• Ability and willingness to support off-hours occasionally to support issue resolution.
