Job Description - Senior Developer - Indoor Navigation (Remote)

Experience : 3+ Years

As an Indoor Navigation Senior Developer, you will play a key role in developing and improving our indoor navigation system, which utilizes the Earth's magnetic field to provide accurate location and navigation capabilities.

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced senior developer to design, develop, and test software applications that utilize the Earth's magnetic field for indoor navigation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, geophysics, and signal processing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with indoor navigation systems, magnetometer data processing, and sensor fusion algorithms.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Design and develop software applications that utilize the Earth's magnetic field for indoor navigation, including data processing, filtering, and sensor fusion algorithms.

- Magnetometer Data Processing : Develop and implement algorithms to process magnetometer data from various sensors, including calibration, filtering, and noise reduction.

- Sensor Fusion : Integrate magnetometer data with other sensor data (e.g, accelerometer, gyroscope, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) to improve navigation accuracy and robustness.

- Indoor Navigation System : Develop and maintain the indoor navigation system, including map rendering, route calculation, and location algorithms.

- Testing and Debugging : Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet the required quality, reliability, and performance standards.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and QA teams, to ensure seamless integration and smooth operation of the indoor navigation system.

- Research and Development : Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in indoor navigation, magnetometer technology, and sensor fusion algorithms, and apply this knowledge to improve the system.

- Design and implement location-tracking algorithms using signals such as Wi-Fi, BLE, GPS, and earth magnetic fields.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3+ years of experience working on indoor navigation systems or related projects.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Blue Dot navigation, earth magnetic field-based positioning, and sensor fusion.

- Experience with indoor mapping technologies, including Wi-Fi, BLE, and IMU sensors.

- Proficiency in mobile app development (iOS and/or Android) and location services APIs.

- Familiarity with Kalman filters and other positioning algorithms used for indoor navigation.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Python, or C++.

- Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for technology and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in machine learning for indoor positioning systems.

- Familiarity with Augmented Reality (AR) applications related to navigation.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) for real-time location data processing.

- Prior experience working in remote or distributed teams
