Role & responsibilities

• Managing transaction for each customer/table through al modes of payment be it cash, card, UPI or other
• Proficient in operating point of sale (POS) equipment
• Balancing the register at the end of each shift, against all modes of payment
• Maintaining an accurate cash drawer
• Maintains appropriate change to enable such transactions
• Friendly with customers and servers to ensure seamless customer experience
• Keeps track of advance payments or delayed payments for bulk orders
• Maintains petty cash for sundry expenses at the outlet
• Keeping check out area clean and sanitized
• Coordinating with delivery boys/zomato/swiggy for delivery of take out parcels
• Answering calls and providing information to customers that call
• Taking orders over the phone, entering it into the point of sale system
• Operating the computer to accept orders that come digitally (Zomato, Swiggy. Dotpe, etc) and marking them ready for delivery
