Design Engineer Team Leader

Role & responsibilities

1. Collection of inputs from the client.

2. Coordination with Client for project and process inputs.

3. Conceptualization of the project.

4. Distribution / allotment of work to the team.

5. Providing timely inputs to the team to facilitate the work.

6. Guiding and monitoring the work of the team.

7. Checking of drawings, approval & issue to the client.

8. Preparation & compilation of project data & calculations.

9. Preparation of URS for the project.

10. Preparation of project cost estimate.

11. Preparation of schedule of deliverable for the project.

12. Quantity survey for various disciplines.

13. Preparation of tender documents.

14. Coordination with internal core competency teams for design & engineering.

15. Coordination between design team & vendors.

16. Ensure timely delivery of drawings and documents to the client.

17. Ensuring that there are no errors in the deliveries.

18. Attending meetings and workshops with client, PMC & vendors.

19. Periodic site visits and inspection visits.

20. Preparation of post construction assessment report.

21. Periodic meeting with vendors to upgrade knowledge about new products and process.

22. Standardization of drawing & documents whenever required.

23. Preparation of standard template based on project requirements & integration with library.

24.Mentoring of new members.
