PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design of chassis components ensuring that they meet customer requirement and Benteler standards & process.
• Coordinate project activities for the development of components and defining the timeline and cost estimation
• Compare, evaluate and design components as per the requirement manual
• Preparing engineering BOM with all the specification for the products
• Defining design validation process for the components, prototype plan and technical release
• Coordinating with interdisciplinary departments like CAD, CAE, testing, project management and quality for the design & development of chassis components
• Conducting the technical release of the drawings for different milestones
• Responsible for design relevant information within the team, customer and supplier.

Required Skill Set
a) Experience as project engineer in the automotive sector
b) Hands on in sheet metal press part development
c) Experience in PLM, windchill / SAP
d) Good design and analysis knowledge of the automotive components to perform design review with the team
e) Good understanding of design engineering fundamentals and able to provide engineering design solutions meeting the defined requirements.
f) Should have strong working experience with cross functional teams
g) Good communication, team player, result oriented and problem solving attitude.

Required Qualification

1. Should be graduate with BE./M.E- Mechanical / Automobile with minimum 3 - 8 years' experience in Automotive Industry.
