Team Lead (GIS Field Survey) / Field Lead- GIS

• Associate who has previously supervised field operations pertaining to the gathering of data in discrete urban areas is sought.
• He must have experience in surveying, GIS or any other type of data collection that takes place at the field.
• Candidate will be managing a team and will be responsible for coordination and processes of data collection efforts.
• Communication, leadership and knowledge about the local city as a superior environment are important skills in this position.
• Conducting surveys independently at various site locations, adhering to project requirements and timelines.
• Lead and coordinate field data collection activities within designated cities.
• Oversee a team of 20 members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of survey data collected.
• Ready to go in the field for data collection or QC on a regular basis (50% time)
• Basic knowledge of POI, PA, Admin boundary, and Street data.

Skills:

• Should have good local knowledge of the city and be able to read, write and speak the local language.
• Basic knowledge of POI, PA, Admin boundary, and Street data would be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
