- The position leads the IBP process for the portfolio of brands in sales by owning the trade / field activity grid, channel development programs while driving commercial excellence.
- Create and Own the Brand wise / State wise / Seed wise Volume Plans along with Consumer Marketing Team for areas of responsibility.
- Create AOP for Brands in coordination with Marketing and Pricing Teams at State Level
- IBP Owners for Categories (National Level) and Geos (Region Level) [Sales & Marketing Activity Grid (SMAG) and Demand Review]
- Design and execute Go To Market (GTM) strategy for new launches/re-launches/ key brands for your region.
- Deep Dive into Nielsen Analytics to track progress, uncover opportunities, identify issues to drive brand / channel volumes
- Partner with Zone/Region on KEY STRATEGIC Projects to Drive Growth for Key Geo / Category combinations.
- Influence Field Sales Leadership to align to Brand / Channel Strategy.
- Developing and executing the Trade Marketing Plan for all Channels/zones in line with sales and marketing objectives
- Design and Manage WS Loyalty Program | Star Retail Program | incentive program for FF & channel partners | Consumer Promotion | Distribution & visibility.
- Design and roll out distributor loyalty program for the wholesale/retail trade channel to ensure right share of visibility and business growth from these channels and ensures that the program delivers its objectives of sustainable channel growth.
- Design & Implement the Field force/channel partner incentive program as per business objectives & annual plans.
- Defining Visibility & Merchandising strategy for Retail Environments, Design & Development of POSM along with marketing, defining Merchandising guideline & planogram for placement on the shelf.
- Captures and analyzes market intelligence to arrive at trade inputs/ offers which beats competition within the allotted budget.
- Ensures seamless rollout of the schemes/ activations by releasing all the trade scheme circulars and maintaining secondary schemes in the system.
- Be the Driving force behind On the ground / Store activations / BTL Activities / New Launches / Innovations
- Effectively design and communicate Trade Activations to Field Leadership team.
- Work with the Sales capability team on the Incentive Plans (Field Force) that will make them stretch/exploit the market potential Category/Brand/Account
- Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities.
- Responsible to ensure ROI of various activations in the BTL Activations space
- Analyse Trade Spends Effectiveness and onboard team to fine tune future revenue management & spends with higher ROIs
- Motivates and guides team across on key aspects of the function for performance improvement and efficient service delivery.
- Anchors the SNOP process for the brands managed, to assess the forecast for stock against book target to operate at Monthly Operating Plan.
- Presents and updates team and Management with Business updates and MIS in terms of growth and targets set, timeline trackers on on-going activities, Key distribution metrics, general market scenario and competition performance etc.
