Software Development Team Lead

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Team Lead with in-depth experience in ASP.NET, Web APIs, and SQL Server to lead and mentor our software development team. This leadership role will involve overseeing the development process, ensuring high standards in code quality, and driving projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Design, implement, and oversee high-quality software solutions using ASP.NET, Web APIs, and SQL Server.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee system architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the teams adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in both development and production environments, providing guidance and solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET development, with strong expertise in Web API design and integration.
• Domain knowledge of Banks and Financial service is a big plus
• Proven experience in SQL Server database design, management, and optimization.
• Previous experience in a leadership or team lead role, with demonstrated skills in mentoring and guiding a team.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline management.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools and practices.
