This role is focused on tax reporting, consulting, and planning in compliance with direct and indirect taxation in the respective area. The role participates in reviews of various agreements, e.g. with vendors, customers, or financial institutions.

As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will

• Be an active part of our tax department, the Tax Specialist manages multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for internal and external clients
• Optimize the tax position and identify tax opportunities
• Make sure to be compliant with taxation, quarterly returns, service taxes, payment of taxes
• Provide maintenance, development, and advice on direct & indirect taxes
• Work in close cooperation with other relevant stakeholders as necessary

About you

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2+ of post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in direct taxation, including comprehensive knowledge on GST
• Hands-on experience with tax litigation within multinational corporations (MNCs).
• Hands-on mentality, flexible to changes within an international environment
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve complex issues
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP (SAP)
• Experience in the travel industry is a plus
